Players w/ anatomical names

Post by Cooperstown » Tue Apr 21, 2009 8:29 am

The funny names post reminded me of one we did a long time ago. Players with names that were also body parts.

A few I remember thinking of back then,

Rollie Fingers

Bill Hands

Barry Foote

Pete LaCock

Bryan LaHair

Chase HEADley

Ricky Bones

Walter "No Neck" Williams

Lenny "Nails" Dykstra

Corey Hart

Rick Ankiel

Shin-Soo Choo

OK, so I stretched it a little with Ankle. :D

Peter LaCock is actually two in one!

And a bit of trivia, he was the son of Peter Marshall of Hollywood Squares fame.

Shin-Soo Choo

A body part, a train sound, and a sneeze wrapped up in one name.

Following up, in french, the OOH LA may have been taken out to shorten the name.

In which case, Peter is a very fortunate fella.
