Current Leaders Now Visible To Everyone
Well, it took a little time for our new look on this one, but we finally have a page that everyone can go to each day to see the Top 20 teams in both the main event and the NFBC Online Championship and the top two teams in all 158 leagues. There are two links on the NFBC main page to find this:
One on the right hand rail near the top that says Current Leaders. Just click on the link below that starts with Top 20...
Also on the home page, under the rotating photos there's a link that says "Top 20 teams in the main event and the online championship." Just click on that and you'll get to the page with all of the teams.
Here's the link to that page now:
http://www.fantasybaseballchampionship. ... ndings.asp
Enjoy and now even non-members can follow the leaders every day. Good luck all and thanks STATS for finally making this visible to everyone.

Congrats to Scott Keikoan, who stands out on our newest list. Scott is fourth overall in the main event and fifth in the NFBC Online Championship. Kudos Scott and remember that little $75,000 cash bonus for winning both overall contests!!
As if you didn't know that already.
Also in the Top 20 in both contests is Kevin Schiller, who was kind enough to buy me dinner and drinks last week at the LA Westin. Our man is moving from LA to Phoenix soon and all of us who attend the Arizona Fall Symposium will now have an extra member to drink with next November.
Good luck on the career move Kevin.

Good luck on the career move Kevin. Thanks for the kinds words Greg. Luck has definitely been on my side so far this baseball season.

Thanks Greg and Mark. I am extremely excited about my teams and believe I actually do have a chance to win both, as crazy as that seems. Health, Zeigler, and Ryan will be keys to me continuing to be near the top.
This is much better than the lifetime ranking of 450th or 550th, something like that. This will get me even, I think.

Not really a big deal Greg, but for the March 28th 5pm League 2 shows Huskers and Royal Blue as the top 2 teams? But we (Your All Dunn) are in 1st in that league with 98.0 pts and 22nd overall.
Winning is not everything, but the will to win is.

Scott I like the confidence Scott, you know I do! Good job last night as you're now third in the main event and fifth in the Online Championship. One step closer to the double-double, but a LOOOOOOOOONG ways to do.
It's cool looking at all of the leaders. Some familiar team names and a lot of very close races as expected. But in the Online Championship I see a lot of new team names in first or second place, which is also good to see. Those 12-team leagues will really be a fight to the finish. Good luck all.

Just a head's up Greg......while this function is awesome, it shows the 2nd and 3rd place teams and leaves out the first place team.
Just thought you'd want this corrected.

Just thought you'd want this corrected. This is now fixed. Thanks for the heads up. Top two teams are now correct for each of the 158 leagues in the NFBC this year.

Is there somewhere that calculates a combined place for both your main event and online championship teams? Like, where Scott would be in first place with an average of 4 or whatever...?

Scott Keikoan is indeed in first place, followed by Ken Magner and Ken Magner again. Enjoy the Combined Standings because it's showing NFBC owners who are dominating the 15-team format and the 12-team format.

The insurance for that is already paid for. If someone earns it, we'll gladly pay it!!
We'll offer this Combined format again next baseball season and we have it for football this year too, in two ways actually. We'll combine our NFFC Classic main event with our 12-team NFFC Primetime main event with a $75,000 bonus, and combine the Classic main event with our NFFC Online Championship, like we do here, for another $75,000. So there will be lots of ways to win extra bonuses in football this year.
Good luck Dave and I'm glad you found the Combined Standings. I look at them first thing every morning.

I thought I read somewhere it was a Mustang or something for one of the contest combinations?
The $75K is better of course, just curious which it is.

Greg:
You aren't alone in checking those combined standings each morning! I need to win some cash to pay for that parking garage tab in NYC next to Blondies for the NFL Draft.
I'm blaming the CHIP, he saw a sign advertising the garage at under $20. He didnt see the small sign below that said "except on weekends"!
Childs should have manned up and taken care of us with all the cash he has pulled down over the last few years.

I told him to back out of that garage and park by a fire hydrant instead, but he said we were already underground!!
Sheesh. Next time KOQ has to supply parking along with a nice drinking establishment if we're going to party on NFL Draft weekend again.

Not to put the jinx on him, but 2 1/2 months into the NFBC season and Lindy Hinkelman is making a run at both grand prizes and the $75,000 bonus for winning both events. Lindy is currently third in the NFBC main event and second in the NFBC Online Championship. Will his good friend Sack prevent him from winning both or will Win Murray and Ray Murphy be the road block in the main? Inquiring minds will have to wait to find out.
Anyway, GREAT JOB so far Lindy and good luck in the run for both overall titles.
