Yesterday I got the call at work that we had to deliver yesterday afternoon due to complications.
Born a little before 6pm, my wife and I are now proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. She spent about 5 hours in the NIC Unit but was then deemed healthy enough to be moved to the regular nursery.
My wife is still going through some complications now, and I can only pray everything will be okay.
I want to thank all of my friends here on the NFBC boards for your prayers throughout this whole process. Your efforts have helped get us to this point, and I am forever grateful to you.
This ride my wife and I have been on for the past 8 1/2 months is not one I would want to go through AGAIN. However, for this this single instance, yesterday was the happiest day of my life. Seeing both my daughter and wife make it through has supercharged my batteries for another 100,000 miles.
Thanks again, and God, thank you for making my wish come true.

Absolutely awesome news. I will transfer my prayers to your wife. If my memory serves me correctly this is your 2nd girl right? Nothing like a little girl with her daddy..

Congrats Mark and this has truly been a rough ride for you and your wife the last two years. But you can see the fruits of your labor (literally) right in front of you and there's nothing better in the world than that. This is what we were put on this great earth to do and there's nothing better in the world.
Congrats and let's all pray everything is fine soon for your wife. She has a tough enough job just putting up with you each day, so she doesn't need any other problems.

Best of luck and get the family home soon.

And if any of you are going through tough times, whether it be health, loss of job, etc...don't EVER allow anyone's opinion dictate your reality.
It was almost two years ago we were told by dr's our chance of getting preganant was almost zero.
We never believed their opinions.
We never gave up.
And, we continued to trust in God throughout all of this.
Those three things coupled together create an unstoppable force.

Great news Mark.12 years ago my wife and I went to many specialist and spent a small fortune to find out the chance of us getting to have a child would be very remote.Well I am now the very proud daddy of two fantastic children.A nine year old girl and a 7 month old baby boy.Seems the experts were quite wrong.Like you said have faith.Get set for a lot of Barney.

What the hell do doctors know about this great thing called conception. My wife was told she would never be able to have babies by some quack and three kids later we couldn't turn the faucet off!!

Remember, the Lord works in mysterious ways. That...and two-a-days.

Congrats Mark on the baby girl and hope your wife has a speedy recovery. We just got news that my wife will be delivering our baby 2-3 weeks early (original due date aug 27th). Hopefully, everything will turn out ok for us like it did for you guys. Again, congrats on the latest addition to the Srebro family.

Who else has had a baby from our NFBC managers since Opening Day. Let's see who else will be in the 2027 graduating class with Tommy Girl Gekko!!

Post 'em here and let the NFBC brethren congratulate you and your wife (or mistress or ex-wife or girlfriend, etc.)
GG, think about it. Your girl will be graduating in 2027. That's like Jetsons time capsule, right? I'm not even sure I can live that long. 2027. Wow.

Congratulations Mark, that has got to be a huge load lifted off your shoulders. Life works in mysterious ways some times and we are just here for the ride. It is easy to say that worrying does not help but saying it and doing it is something totally different. Good luck to you and the family.

Congratulations Mark. Well done. Give the family many hugs from all of us.
My wife and I welcomed our second child, first daughter, on June 16th. It was tough for mom but she has recovered and they are currently the best mom/baby combo I could imagine.
If there was a fantasy nursing league, she'd go #1.

Congrats again Mark and family!
On a side silly note...after watching the movie "Idiocracy"...it warms my belly when smart folks successfully breed.

Great news Mark congrats !!! two more girls and you'll catch me....
Anyhow...get some rest and enjoy your lil' baby girl cause... I never believed everyone when they say enjoy your baby before you'll know it they'll be grown up.
As my 8 year old just went to the Jonas Brothers concert and it was like yesterday when she was born...nothing like holding your child and realizing the unconditional love for this little human being. Life stops for a brief moment when you look into their eyes.
Good luck and best to the Mrs !!!!
