Milton Bradley

Bradley says that Cub fans are idiots and that Chicago is full of hatred.
From a fantasy perspective, I would say that Bradley owners are full of hatred and that Hendry was an idiot for signing him.
Bradley says that he prays that the game is nine innings long so that he can go home.
A lot of us have coached little league and high school ball, if any of the kids would have said that, we know that kid would be home, permanently.
The first comment is born out of Cub fans riding him for not even coming close to expectations. Considering Bradley's past, it is a typical Bradley comment.
The second says a lot more about Bradley. While the Ian Kinsler's and Dustin Pedroia's of the world would rather be on a baseball field than anywhere else, Bradley would prefer to be off. When Bradley signs a new contract, such as his three year, 30 million dollar contract with the Cubs, I get the feeling that after the euphoria of signing for that much money is over, that he prepares for his three years much like a criminal entering a prison for a three year stretch.
The worst part is, that after his three year stretch is done, some other g.m. will, again, look at Bradley from the neck down and offer him another contract. Whoever obtains his services, that city will experience a sudden blossomming of idiots and hatred.
