Congratulations needs to go out to Donn Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia as he became the first person in NFBC history to win two NFBC Super League titles in the same season. Actually, Donn tied for one of the titles, but it still counts!! :D It was a season to remember for Donn, who has been an NFBC Charter Member since 2004.

Donn has drafted in Las Vegas and New York in past seasons, but this year he had trouble getting out of Atlanta for our draft weekend and competed in the Phone/Online main event and both Super Draft Leagues via phone. He finished second in the Phone/Online League 1 with 108.5 points and led both Super Leagues most of the season. He won the Saturday, March 21st Super League with 123 points as Team Johnson took home the $20,000 league prize.

But the Sunday, March 22nd Super League 1 title went right down to the wire and in fact featured two ties for prizes. Donn Johnson and Chris Poulson actually tied for the league title with 105 points, splitting $27,500, while Nick Cassavettes and Ken Magner tied for third place with 97 points, splitting $3,750.

Congrats to all of you.

Interestingly, the winner of our other Sunday Super Draft League was Shawn Johnson of Fairport, New York. Shawn's Evil Menaces also finished with 123 points. Congrats Shawn.
