NFBC Message Boards

If anyone from the NFBC is going to be in Chicago on Saturday, Feb. 21 for Ron Shandler's First Pitch Forum, let me know. I plan on being there for the noon to 3 p.m. forum and may have time for a beer or three before heading home. I might even join a panel discussion if I'm nice to Ron. It's at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Wood Dale and you can find the info at www.firstpitchforums.com. Ron does a great job at all of his forums and symposiums and they will certainly get you revved up and prepared for the upcoming season.



Other First Pitch forums are in St. Louis on Feb. 22, Baltimore/DC Feb. 27, New York on Feb. 28 and Boston Feb. 29. See you in the Windy City.

I don't understand this... you can drop $30-40 and sit in a room and ask questions about players? Don't the magazines and websites cover that or is this some other concept that I'm missing?
