Just a few items-



In a weeks span, the White Sox have added 76 years of age to their roster with the additions of Omar Vizquel and Andruw Jones.

Vizquel is just two years younger than Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen. Vizquel and Jones only cost two million bucks. Ken Williams, the Sox GM, blew his wad last year on Alex Rios and Jake Peavy.

Vizquel and Jones can be seen talking on the bench next year starting each sentence with, "Back in the day..."



Castro lands in Philadelphia...

During the 60's this would have been headline news. As is, a fill in for the Phillies.



Bud Selig got a three million dollar raise this year.

And now claims that some teams lost money.

Yep, two and two makes four



Perhaps the term,'He's a pitcher, not a thrower can best be said about Roy Halladay more than any other pitcher.

Halladay ranked 10th this year of all A.L. starters, with a fastball that averaged 92.6 mph

In contrast, only 31 per cent of Halladay's pitches this year were fastballs. Every other A.L. pitcher with at least 150 innings threw at least 42 per cent fastballs.
