I hate to keep talking about our many moves here in Iola, but since our acquisition by Fanball on Aug. 15 we have moved three times in the last five months. Considering that I moved once in the previous 20 years, that's quite a milestone. The first move out of our F+W offices was the hardest as Tom and I each had 10 years of junk to throw away and we filled about five barrels of garbage with old magazines, sports cards, memorabilia, etc.



We then moved to Chet Krause's historic office for two months until we completed the NFFC drafts and then in late October we moved to a separate office about 2-3 blocks from the old Krause Publications complex in Iola. It made the split complete and we started anew with offices in a former chiropractor's office. I know there's a joke there somewhere, but I just can't think of it right now.



Anyway, when we we moved there we knew that we'd be moving to a more permanent office on the main floor below, next to the city attorney who owns the building. It's actually his old law office and it's MUCH better than our offices on the second floor.



So today we moved into this new man-cave and we're now set for good in Iola. My wife did all of the heavy lifting and somehow disassembled and assembled both my desk and Tom's along with shelves and everything else. I don't know how I got so lucky to find someone like that. I look at the first page of directions and I'm lost, but she takes the time to read everything and put things together without any problem. Opposites attract, they say!!



She was even nice enough to order some Fatheads for our offices, so in a few weeks we'll spice up these white walls. We have a Prince Fielder Fathead (insert joke here) and a Greg Jennings Fathead coming to spice up the look of our man-cave. The refrigerator is in place and cold Pepsi's and Corona's have been ordered. Hey, we work late dammit, past cocktail hour sometimes!!



Tomorrow DirecTV comes to hook up the man-cave TV and then we'll be all set.

So you broke an 87 year old Iola record for moves in a year, and still have 7 months left! Lucky that attorney was a Shriner, or you'd been in the shed in the back!

Mr. Favre will return back to Titletown from the Dark Side one day, but it won't be anyday soon. And if luck should have it, Packers vs. Favre III could be playing again in a week or two.



Let the NFL playoffs begin. Damn, this is going to be fun.
