NFBC Slow Draft Offerings Part 5

Okay, we've had a great start to the new year with several slow drafts being filled and even completed. I heard the Slow Draft that KJ Duke ran finished in about 7 days. Amazing. That's a different version of a "Slow Draft" if you ask me!! :D But I know there's plenty of interest in these, so let's transfer the latest offerings over here and get another set of Slow Drafts started. You can sign up online for any of these, or post your desire here for any of them or just email me at [email protected]. Let's keep them going.

Slow Drafts allow owners to participate in a league without being tied to their computers. Owners get 12 hours to make their pick and each pick from every other owner is emailed to you, so that you can keep up with the draft on your Blackberry or smart phone device. It's a fun, fun way of drafting so early in the season.

The Draft Champions format is 45 rounds with no in-season free agent moves. What you draft is what you get all season long. You still make weekly lineup changes, but you don't have to worry about any Sunday free agent pickups. The best drafter is rewarded in this format.

Here's the list of each event and the current signup lists:

$325, 45-round Draft Champions Slow Draft, Pay Top 3 finishers a free entry in the 2011 NFBC main event No. 5:

1. Russ Titsch

$125 NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft League No. 10

On MockDraftCentral.com starting when league fills

$125 Entry Fee, Pay $1,000 for first place, $375 for second and $125 for third

1. Randy Sizemore

2. Doug Langholz

3. Don Brady

4. Scott Liebman

5. Jonathan Currier

6. Daniel Prescia

7. Emory Upchurch

8. Jon McGuffin

9. Chris Latka

10. Ralph Ehrman

11. Rick Farrell

12. Jeff Dobies

13. Joe Meehan

14. Joseph Anello

15. Richard Kulaski

Here's another offering I'll make to the NFBC audience. We can do a 30-round NFBC $125 Slow Draft that plays out just like any other NFBC Satellite league during the season. So this offering allows you to make FAAB pickups during the season and run your team just like you normally would in any NFBC Satellite League, but we'll draft 30 rounds in a Slow Draft fashion to get the season started and we'll pay the Top 2. This format will pay a free entry in the 2011 NFBC Classic live event next year ($1300 value) and $200 to the second place finisher Here's the offering and we'll take signups here:

$125 NFBC Slow Draft League No. 4 with FAAB moves, 30 Rounds

On MockDraftCentral.com starting when league fills

$125 Entry Fee, Pay free entry into 2011 NFBC main event ($1300 value) and $200 for second place:

1. Gaetan Lavoie

3. Dan Kenyon Sounds good. We can try to officially add this to the satellite league menu under $250 offerings, but for the time being this is a good start. So this is a normal, 30 round, $250 NFBC Satellite League online, right? We'll get it set up and anyone who wants to join this just post here. Thanks Dan for setting this one up.
