Okay, we've learned a lot while trying to move the data from STATS' site to the Fanball site and one of the biggest eye openers is that MANY OF YOU HAVE TOO MANY ACCOUNTS!! :D

Well, maybe you can blame Tom and I for that. But through the last six years, many NFBC owners may have originally signed up for an event, then forgotten their username and password and signed up later using a new log-in. Then some folks went to the NFFC site and logged in with different usernames and passwords and now with our basketball event we have even more log-ins for some veteran owners. In fact, we've found owners with as many as five different usernames and passwords.

That obviously is causing all kinds of problems for us now as we try to merge not only all of these accounts but the accounts of folks who also play in the FFOC, CDM and Fanball games. That is why some folks are able to see their MY TEAMS pages now and why a lot of folks aren't able to see their MY TEAMS pages.

So here's what we have to do: Please take the time in the next few days to try to log into the NFBC site. If you haven't done it already, just go to:

http://nfbc.fanball.com and log in.

Then go to HOME in the upper left hand corner of the green navigational bar and pull down to LEAGUE HOME. That's where your teams should reside.

If you just see a black screen there, then we have work to do on the back-end. What I want you to do is email Tom at [email protected] and let him know you can't see your MY TEAMS page. If you can give him your username and password for the NFBC site that would be helpful. Tom will then pass this info onto our IT guys and get your account centralized under this one username and password. Sound good?

So feel free to barrage us with emails and we'll get your accounts set up. We really want you to see the MY TEAMS pages and see what your past teams and future teams look like. If we have multiple signups this year because of issues we had when you first signed up, we need to clear that up too. So let us know all of that, okay? Thanks.

REMINDER: the FAAB interface is the MOST IMPORTANT part of the STATS/Fanball system. if it sucks, Q the theme music for titanic.

any idea when the FAAB system will be operational for all of us to demo?

Gekko --

As Greg will tell you -- he's been part of this entire process. He looks at every page, every layout, etc.

We keep blowing him away.

We are going to make sure that FAAB process is the best it can be.

Just out of curiosity....

A couple days ago, I saw my teams from last year on the My Teams page (even if there were numerous errors)....

Now I only see my Slow draft teams (without roster information).....

Is this what I'm supposed to be seeing right now?

If so, where do I go for last year's teams....and when will rosters for this year's teams be loaded?

Also, should the teams I've registered for (Classic, Ultimate, etc) be on this team page or just those that have already drafted?

Everything looks good for past leagues (ugly results, but looks good), but my finished slow draft isn't there yet.

I like how they put all the stats in the main leaderboard.

...AND "java-like" sortable...thumbs up on that!

Hey guys,

There were a few backend items with the slow drafts that had to be taken care of before I could send the results.

It looks like that is done, so I will pass along the results in the morning and work with the guys to make sure everything gets into the system correctly.

Thanks much for your patience. You will be seeing your drafts soon.

Glenn You did the right thing by emailing me about this Glenn. We'll get all of those teams combined on the one log-in that currently houses your Slow Drafts. This should be done today.

I've been checking out the My Teams pages and yes I agree, they are sweet.

Just a few quick questions.....

-Last year's team pages offered a method to list your teams in the order you want, will this year's have the same feature?

-Will links to the live scoring & live standings of all NFBC teams be made available through one main page (AFFL had this feature) or will we have to navigate back to the My Teams page each time we want to check another team?

-As Mark mentioned, the FAAB methodology STATs offered was the best of all the contests I was a part of last year, is Fanball looking to mimick what the NFBC had last year in this regard?

-When will the Slow Draft rosters be loaded?

-Will links to our teams in other Fanball backed contests be made available through these pages (Diamond Challenge, FFOC, Snapdraft, Commissioner based leagues, etc.)?

Again, off first glance, the Team Page is a major asthetic step up as has been the whole website.....good job.

Glenn I'll try to answer a few of these questions quickly Glenn and get answers to the others:

** I believe we will eventually have a tool that allows you to rank the order you want your NFBC teams to appear and even to have some disappear. That is coming soon, I believe. I need to verify this with IT, though, for a date.

** I'll ask about the Live Scoring and Live STandings.

** The IT is already working on the FAAB setup and Ryan has seen the early part of it. Not only will we have Conditional Bids, Move and Copy features like STATS developed two years ago for us, but I'm told they will be much improved. This will be done and it will be better than before.

** STATS always loaded the satellite leagues about a week before the regular season. We want to improve on that. Last week we received all of the Slow Draft results from MDC.com and found that we were missing 146 Player IDs. That is because those 45-round drafts go so deep in the player pool. We have requested these Player IDs from STATS and the teams will be loaded once all players have been identified. You really can't load these teams until all players are identified, otherwise you are doing that individually league-by-league. We need to get these Player IDs attached for every player before loading the draft results. STATS is helping us there now on that.

** I don't think so, but I'll check. Many of you have a ton of CDM, FFOC, NFBC, NFFC, NFBBC teams and I'm not sure we want them all on your MY TEAMS pages. But I may be wrong. I'll ask IT and get back to you.

I hope this helps. We're on a good schedule to showcase all of this to you and have you feel confident in what we're doing. So far, so good.
