I see interest isn't too high for the NL-only NY league. Do you guys anticipate more interest? I'm probably looking to join one more league, and this would be my first choice. I'm looking at the $650 entry.
If not, is there any chance of the mixed league going considerably higher than 15 teams (I'd assume no, given time constraints)?

Any chance for a New York NL-only?
Bobo, thanks for starting this thread. Yes, I'd love to get an NL-only Auction League going in New York and the only way to get it started is to get some names on the list. We had 2 or 3 signups last year for the $1,250 NL Auction League in New York and unfortunately didn't come close to filling it. I know at least one of those guys went in the main event last year, but he really wanted to do the NL Auction instead. We'll certainly run one, if the interest is there.
As for the mixed auction league, let's get to 15 first and then see if there's interest in another league or just a few more teams, which would translate into a higher prize pool. I think we'll get to 15, but it might be a slow crawl to get there.
Honestly, it's only January and last year our New York signups came late in the game because people don't have to make flight plans and such if they live on the East Coast. People shouldn't be disheartened to see fewer signups in New York right now than Las Vegas because anyone committing to Las Vegas needs to take care of travel plans well in advance. Let's get some names on the New York boards and I'm sure others will commit soon. We're still 2+ months away from Draft Day, so let's show the interest and others will follow. Thanks.
