For any of our beloved NFBC members who pay by check this year for the NFBC main event, Super, Ultimate or Diamond, you may want to use your insurance on Mr. Jose Reyes. However, according to the New York Post, Reyes is already working out and feeling fine. In fact, he told the Post:



"I'll be ready in 2010. Be there, it's going to be a show," he said, according to the New York Post. "I can do everything I did before on the field ... I can't wait to hit a triple."

Not to be redundant, but how is the list of the top 100 selected? If it is based on last year's stats or if the company deems Reyes as uninsurable, he won't be on the list, right?

He's a Mutt and the Mutt's organization is inherently dishonest. So, no.

I'm a believer.... I took him in the end of the 2nd round in Slow Draft #10 and this information would only seem to support my choice....



Though some have commented that he may not run as much with the injury history, I don't believe that. This man's game is running, he's built to run, if he's healthy, he's going to run. 55+ SB's here we come!

I am wary of speedesters who get injured, particularly with leg injuries. It's sort of like a pitcher who missed most of the season with an elbow injury (and didn't have surgery). I frankly don't think he will end up out long enough for anyone to collect on him, but that doesn't mean he won't have Scott Podsednik's 2006.

Good pick and good insurance candidate for an all-or-nothing strategy. Not so good pick based on probability. I'd pass 'til at least the 3rd or 4th round.

I saw a great player on a team with no shot, sitting out most of last year so he'd be good to go THIS new season. I also see his injury-free history...

2008 NYM 159 games played.



I even got burned by him as my #1 pick in the ME last year, but I could see his reason for not pushing it/risking injury to come back to a team with no shot at the post season, and have taken him again this season in the 2nd.

I've been sitting out the last 20 seasons since a shoulder injury so I should be primed for a comeback! Any slow drafters willing to take a 45th round flyer?
