Wandy Rodriguez - I've seen this guy go in the 6th and 7th round in SP heavy drafts, but 8th round still gives him a nice chance at some great profit. Shandler has Wandy as a $25 SP . He's had two good solid years in a row. His 2nd half was simply incredible...

K9 = 8.4

BB9 = 2.2

HR9 = 0.8

Elite #'s. If he can do it for the full season this year, you are looking at a top 5 SP this year. Right now, he's the 24th (yes TWENTY FOURTH) SP off the board on average. Wow!



DISLIKE:

Howie Kendrick - Shandler has a hardon for this guy, but I think this year has more inconsistent results. He's not a power hitter, he's not a speedster, what is he? He's a DeJesus that plays 2nd base!

Pedroia falls into the same category and I bet Kendrick puts up similar numbers but 6 Rds later.





I agree with you that Wandy is going late and if he puts it together this year......Well, he has the makeup to be a top 10 pitcher.



I think Billingsley has the same potential.





Is Stewart going too early? Especially now that they signed Mora he might lose at bats.

Also, I've seen Pedroia go as late as mid 3rd and Kendrick as high as early 7th. Might be a 6th rd difference in some drafts but could be as low as a 4 rd difference in others.

Dislike: Bartlett, Kendrick, Kubel, Stewart, Lackey I agree Dave, lots of value to like but the problem is that 4 of these 6 players in both slow drafts that I've done have been drafted before the 9th rd.
