What about the checks sent weeks ago to the name and address provided then? I notice they still haven't cashed.

Greg personally has taken those checks to St. Louis so he was the man in charge. We're going to start running charges for a lot of leagues besides the Classic next week. So if you paid for the Classic by check we'll start cashing those checks. I'm also hoping we can get all of the Slow Draft Leagues up on Tuesday and Wednesday. Once we do that, then we'll start running the charges for those leagues. So if you paid by check for those leagues you should also see those checks being cashed soon. This is all a process but we want to make sure we do it all properly.

And we need to have a postmark of Monday the 15th for checks to qualify for insurance?

Does this mean that late entrants are not eligible for insurance?

I asked accounting to sit on those until Feb. 15th as a courtesy to those paying by check. All of those checks will be deposited on Tuesday and all checks coming in after that will be deposited when they arrive. Thanks all.

Does this mean that late entrants are not eligible for insurance? Dan, we are asking everyone to send their checks in by next week to qualify for the insurance. If you have any issues with getting a check out that quickly and still want the insurance please make arrangements with me or Tom. We'll work with you. We understand that we set a short turn-around time on this, but it took a bit to set up the secure payment site and set up the blockers on your site to allow you to pay by check or credit card.

Many, many people are taking the check option for the insurance. We're all excited about that. If you need a little help to still get that, let me know via email and I'll work with you. Sound good?

Greg,

I (Mike Martin) sent a check to Iola for the Feb. 17th Top 3 and March 30 WTA ($125 each). Yesterday the website blocked access to my team pages until CC confirmation was put in. Do you know if the check made it? If so, others may be having this same problem, but obviously I am on a shorter time crunch here. Please let me know if I need to enter CC info and have the check shredded, etc.

Thanks.

Thanks. If you previously sent a check just click on check for your payment and all will be fine. Accounting will then apply those checks to those accounts. Simple enough.

So the blocker is just asking you for your payment plan: Check or credit card. Just say check and the blocker will go away. Thanks.

I just signed up for the classic event at atlantic city, now i chose the check option but not sure if i'll be able to send it before monday the 22nd. So is their anyway to just change it to credit card, and how long until it will be billed then?

Astoria,NY Rich, if you paid by check you qualify for the insurance policy. Since you haven't drafted anyone yet, you obviously can't place insurance on anyone yet. After Draft Day, we'll have a feature on your team page where you'll be able to declare the player you want insurance on and everything will run through Fanball and Fantasy Sports Insurance. Look for that feature after Draft Day, once rosters are loaded. Thanks.

Fanball has been also sending notices that accounts are going to be frozen as of March 5th.
