Okay, we did all we could do to make things right for the first weekend, especially with those who already had rooms at the Flamingo. The Bellagio is welcoming us with open arms for this first weekend and going the extra yard to make sure our participants want to stay at the Bellagio.



I am sending an email to all NFBC participants who are signed up with us for that first weekend and providing a special room rate that is well below the announced $159 room rate. This is for Thursday, Friday and Sunday if you are signed up for any NFBC event that first weekend. The price remains $159 on Saturday night, March 20th as that is still a great price for that busy day.

It's hard to believe that we were able to accommodate our members at this price. Good things in a bad economy, some say. But this is a unique year and this is great for all those competing in the first weekend.



Again, the first weekend of events will have no Events Fees and the same type of space we had reserved at the Flamingo. Food and beverage will be similar to past NFBC events and what we had planned at the other destination. And the room rate is almost equal all around. Great news.

What about The ones that signed up for the Flamingo-3pack. After spending an hour on the phone with the Flamingo Wed trying to secure a room and getting very aggravated with Fanball that i wish i hadnt sent my payment in Tue. This change this late is a somewhat BS but not letting me know about it on Wed was even more BS.

Ken, call them back and just cancel your reservation. You can do that now. Yeah, we are just as frustrated with the Flamingo as you are, moreso. See, they made us look bad with you.

ditto. i know the e-mail servers in california are slower than elsewhere, but be nice to see if it's worth it to switch.

That didnt really answer my ?. maybe the email will when it gets here, dont know what it is but takes from 2 to 12 hrs to recieve them fanball emails.

Although I wasn't even close to the most negative person on these boards when the switch to the Bellagio was announced this week, I didn't exactly greet it with open arms. I now realize I was wrong.

With Greg/Ryan/Fanball getting us a good room rate for the first weekend there is nothing to complain about. Last night it took me about ten minutes to cancel my reservation at the Flamingo and get a reservation at the Bellagio. From looking up the reviews for the Bellagio, it is clearly much nicer to the Flamingo.

I'm looking forward to being at the Bellagio instead of the Flamingo. It won't change the actual draft much, but nicer rooms, a better sportsbook etc. make the whole weekend more fun and there is absolutely no loss for people who choose to switch over.

After this long winter, I know all of us are ready for some R&R in Las Vegas. Enjoy the sun and fun in Las Vegas and I'll see ya in five more weeks.

Just a heads up that our room rates at the Bellagio are only good through March 5th, so if you can make your reservation before then you'll get to enjoy the Bellagio stay at a really affordable price. Good luck all.
