Two Spots Left For NY March 28th Auction Championship League

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Feb 21, 2010 5:56 am

I am happy to say that we currently have EIGHT full leagues for the debut NFBC Auction Championship. That means 120 teams are locked in for a shot at the $15,000 grand prize. We also have five leagues that are partially full and we'll do everything we can to fill those. Our goal is still 10 full leagues and if we go above that we'll spread increase the prize pool accordingly, either for league prizes or the overall prizes.

But first we need to get to our goal of 10 full leagues and 150 teams. Here are the five leagues that still have openings. We need 15 teams in each city to make this work. Please plan accordingly and sign up online. We will not charge any of these five leagues until the leagues are full. We don't need your money right now, just your commitment.

Does anyone still want to compete for the NFBC Auction Championship? Join now.

Two Spots Left For NY March 28th Auction Championship League

Post by Sack » Sun Feb 21, 2010 7:11 am

Greg:

Please list Eddie Gillis in Atlantic City with the last spot on March 19th in my place. He has agreed to take this spot and in turn, I've signed up for the Double Play.

In addition, it appears you have some extra auction entries for the two Vegas auction leagues

on March 26th, I'm listed in the 9am. IF, you start to close in on the Sunday Atlantic City auction I would be willing to help out by handling my auction at that time and date, provided that the Xmas package is still honored. Don't want to lose a secure spot, but keep that one on the table if it helps fill another league in Atlantic City on Sunday, March 21st.

If you can't complete these these live, how about doing them on-line -- particularly the Mar 20, 21 weekend?

Nothing else starts before 1 pm, so come on up early and watch a bit from the back of the room and learn about their dollar values for the same format.

Okay, we need EIGHT MORE OWNERS for this one. Citi Field. Tout Wars Mixed Auction League before you. Overlooking a beautiful MLB park from the third base dugout side. Other drafts going on inside the room as well. Should be a BLAST!! Come and join us.

Okay, this is going to be my new countdown thread to get at least two more Auction Championship leagues filled. The first one is obvious. We're at Citi Field on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, March 28th, and Tout Wars has a 15-team Mixed Auction League starting four hours before this. Steal their dollar values and win this league!! :D We now have only SIX SPOTS LEFT FOR THAT ONE!! Oh, and it's overlooking Citi Field from the third base side. How can you beat it?

Okay, we have FIVE SPOTS LEFT for the NFBC Auction Championship in New York City at Citi Field on Sunday, March 28th at 1 pm ET. Derek Rice was able to move from the Atlantic City auction league to this one, which is a good news/bad news situation. But we have to fill up as many auction leagues as possible and this may work out best for New York.

Remember that Tout Wars will host their Mixed Auction League starting at 9 a.m., so there will be some auction values for folks to see before the NFBC Auction Championship begins. Come to Citi Field and join us for this one. Thanks all.

Here's the current lineup card for that March 28th Auction League:

Okay, I think we have two more owners ready to jump into this Sunday auction league at Citi Field, which would bring us to 12 teams. We may have another owner also thinking about this one, so we're getting closer. We are definitely going to fill this one and hopefully one more in Las Vegas to get to 10 full leagues. Let me know if you have any interest and we'll get you all set up. Thanks all.
