Hey Greg,

for the NL auction, how many breaks occur during the auction and is there a break for lunch? How long will the break be between the NL and AL auction? What kind of places to eat are on-site at the Rio?

We will take breaks as necessary in the auction leagues and trust me, everyone will know when it's time for a break and a money check. We probably do that after each 90 minutes or so, 2-3 per auction.

We should have a good hour to 90 minutes in between the auction leagues and obviously we'll be smart and give everyone enough time to eat and stretch their legs. There is a great buffet at the Rio and a small cafe within 4-5 walking minutes of our convention room. Maybe we'll even mass order pizzas before the night auctions.

Eat well before the morning auction, bring some food for yourself during the auction and we'll find a way to fatten you up before the night auction. Hopefully that will work!!!

Because of the crowd that will be at the Rio with it being sold out, plus the World Series of Poker qualifier going on there, I would highly recommend that we get some kind of Catered food, whether pizza, sandwhiches or a spread buffet. The buffets at the Rio will be packed and it may take 60 minutes to get to the registers. :(

There will be less than 100 people there Friday so 20 large pizzas and 50 Big Macs ought to do it. :D

We did pizzas inbetween the draft and the auction in Las Vegas for football and can likely do something similar again for those doing both. I'll certainly look into that as I know you're a hungry bunch! :D But yeah, that makes the most sense.

The only thing is, for football the guys got a little goofy after pizza and the next thing you knew one co-manager was running to the liquor store for a case of beer and after the auction participants finished that off they went and got another case of beer. That damn pizza just makes you want to drink! :D
