Votto at risk to miss_time?

anyone who owned votto last year knows he missed a huge chunk of the season dealing with anxiety/depression issues.
when asked about how he's doing now...Votto said the offseason was good and he had no incidences. But he wouldn’t go so far as to say he has gotten past all his problems.
“A lot of people want miracles,” he said. “Life’s not like that. I’m making progress. I’m going in the right direction.”
seeing how k.greene had similar issues and now he is MIA for the rangers, is it realistic to expect Votto to play the whole season? don't say you weren't warned.

It's not like it is the flu or something. You don't just wake up better after some rest and vitamins. I am not a professional but just listening to people talk about it tells me it is something they deal with their whole life in some manner.
Hope he works it out and can continue to improve (personally and professionally)though.

It doesn't work that way. Fantasy players just glance over it because it's not a wrist injury sapping his power, but a mental condition can be far worse for a player than a physical one. You definitely have to account for that when assessing Votto's value.

Clearly anyone would be crazy to draft Votto in top 3 rounds then...right Gekko?
