Time To Combine This Last $125 Slow Draft
It's March 1st and since the Slow Drafts take about three weeks to complete, it's time to wind down the Slow Draft season and concentrate on the satellite leagues. However, we did have some signups over the weekend for the $125 Slow Drafts, and we do have some names on the 30-rounder list, so I'll try to fulfill these final signups and run one more.
This will have to be a 45-round, $125 Slow Draft, Draft Champions League because the 30-rounder won't fill in time. Sorry to those four owners who signed up for that. Here are the seven owners who have signed up for $125 Slow Drafts and if you want me to put you on the next list, just say the word:
Tom Breslin (wanted 30-rounder)
Jim Frank (wanted 30-rounder)
Mike O'Connor (wanted 30-rounder)
Sharon Williams (wanted 30-rounder)
Peter Girouard
Rich Wilson
Mark Brown
Okay, so here's the final offering. Who wants to be on this list?:
No. 20, 45 rounds, no in-season moves
On MockDraftCentral.com starting when league fills
$125 Entry Fee, Pay $1,000 for first place, $375 for second and $125 for third:
1. Carl Tungli-Giese
2. Rich Wilson
3. Mark Brown
4. Mike O'Connor
5. Peter Girouard
6. Richard Kulaski
7. Clark Olson
8. Brad Wilt
9. Patrick Welsh
10. Michael Lins
11. Ron Kraus
12. Michael Garrison
13. Stanley Kaye
14. Kevin Audo
15. Paul Metivier
You can sign up for them two ways:
1. Leave your name and league that you want here on the boards or email [email protected]
2. Sign up online by:
Clicking on any Sign Up Now Link
Log-in as a returning NFBC user or sign in as a new user
Under Select Game select Satellites
Under Select Venue Choose $125 Draft Champion
Under Select Time select TBD
We will add the date of your draft after it's been completed
We will then start these drafts once they are filled up.
This format is 15 teams, 45 rounds and there are no free agent pickups after Draft Day. What you draft is what you have for the season. You can make weekly lineup changes, but only among the 45 players you drafted. Owners get 12 hours to make a pick, so you're not locked to your computer, and each pick is emailed directly to you so that you know where you are in the draft. It's a fun, fun way to draft with these usually taking around 21 days or so to finish. And the chat room becomes a nice social network, if you will, for the participants.
Thanks all for a great, great, great Slow Draft season. It all worked out well.
