Fanball has added a special Diamond Challenge league (#115) for NFBC Double Play (both On-Line and Live) team owners where you can win a FREE 2011 NFBC DOUBLE PLAY ENTRY, plus win all of the Diamond Challenge cash prizes, and it doesn't cost you a penny more to be in this league.
To enter the Diamond Challenge, go to http://diamondchallenge.fanball.com/?origin=quicklinks and click Enter Now. On page 4 of signup choose "League placement restrictions" and then click the button "Put my team in this league" and enter 115. The first 25 entries to request league 115 will be accepted.

Here's the skinny on the deal. The Diamond Challenge costs $39.95 to enter. You can cap your transactions charges (new this year!) at $400 (all transactions included: player purchases, switches, shifts and call-ups). Fanball VIP Club annual membership costs an additional $75, but it's worth it for the 40% extra league cash payouts. So your max out-of-pocket expense to play is $514.95. The winner of this league, if a Fanball VIP Club member, will win $1400 cash plus the FREE 2011 NFBC Double Play ENTRY. 2nd place in the league wins $700, 3rd wins $490, 4th wins $280, 5th wins $140 and 6th wins a free 2011 Diamond Challenge entry. You can win more; the top 25 teams in each 250-team division win prizes ($2000 to first) and the top 100 overall win more cash including the $50,000 cash grand prize. So you could win $53,400 in cash and a FREE 2011 NFBC Double Play ENTRY. And there's even more! Combine this entry with a Fantasy Baseball 2010 entry and register a Free Super Challenge entry and you could win $100,000!
If you’re entered in the Double Play Live and win league 115, you’ll get a Double Play Live entry in 2011. If you’re entered in the Double Play Online and win league 115, you’ll get a Double Play Online entry in 2011. If you’re entered in both Double Play Live and Double Play Online and win league 115, you can choose either a Double Play Live or Double Play Online entry in 2011.
A lot of the NFBC team owners have been playing the Diamond Challenge for years. I won't kid you, this is tough. You can have any player you want, and so can everyone else, so you don't get a major advantage owning Albert Pujols. Some think this is the toughest competition in fantasy baseball, some think it's the NFBC. Play both and you decide!
