Which team would you choose?
I drafted one of these teams in a 10-team $1,000 entry fee Fanball Draft and Play league... I'm curious as to which team(s) you think are the favorite(s) and which ones have no chance, and why. They are in order of their draft order.

Drafting 10 team leagues and winning them is comparable to bowling against your kids and bragging that you won.
I know you weren't boasting, but there isn't any challenge to drafting a 10 team league (after you draft 15 of course!

The next time I have an extra hour or two and my cpu happens to freeze up on this thread, and I'm in particular need of attention, I'll shoot you an answer. Stay tuned.
Which team would you choose?
Absolutely Redunkulous...
Did he just say $1,000 entry 10-team? I could never understand the draft and trade all-star leagues... As far as I'm concerned you could roll a dice to determine who has the best team above... It's almost all luck now...

) 10-team league, with a $1000 entry fee, these guys are somewhat prepared. i'd be more fearful of dave getting beat in this type of league where it's harder to separate the men from the boys.

I think it's always dangerous to downgrade the caliber of the competition because someone doesn't like the format of the contest.
I'm sure there are little tricks to the trade to winning in All-Star team type contests that those who've had success at this format utilize and could explain to us.
Let's not forget that those who specialize in AL only Auction type contests see our 15-team mixed league formats as an All-Star team type contest.

My response of who cares was not a slam against Dave or the 10 team format; $1000 is a pretty penny and I am sure putting up 1K they were serious except of course the guy who took all the pitchers to start.

It's dangerous? Could someone lose an eye? You guys responding to the fact he entered a 1000 lg is the obvious reason for this thread in the first place. Pretty sure that part of the intro would not have been necessary otherwise.

It looks like a one Catcher league so McCann gives that team a top 3 catcher. That Pitching staff could get 50 as they have enough quality SP to use three plus closers and still get enough wins and K's.

) You do realize that I play in NFBC too, right? I'm not just some wannabe here... I play in the Main Event, Super, etc (those would be 15 team leagues).. I just enjoy several different formats and getting money from different sources helps.
The reason I stated the parameters of the league was just so you would have all the info to evaluate... you know, if you don't care, then move on.. I think it's silly and childish for you all to waste your time responding with such immature responses to my post. I was looking for honest feedback, if you have none to give then save your comments for someone who cares.

It looks like a one Catcher league so McCann gives that team a top 3 catcher. That Pitching staff could get 50 as they have enough quality SP to use three plus closers and still get enough wins and K's. [/QUOTE]See actually I was thinking the opposite about catcher... I think in a 1-catcher league where you can get a Soto, Iannetta, Doumit, Suzuki, Napoli at the end of the draft, drafting one in the first 10 rounds seems absurd unless you're getting Mauer in like the 5th round...

Did he just say $1,000 entry 10-team? I could never understand the draft and trade all-star leagues... As far as I'm concerned you could roll a dice to determine who has the best team above... It's almost all luck now...
Jon By the way, there's no trading...

I'm bragging that I entered a $1,000 league? lol.. this wouldn't exactly be the place to do that, now would it? I mean, I entered a $5,000 league through NFBC too (although I guess it isn't gonna fill now)... so what? The obvious reason for the post was to get feedback so I could see others' points of view who are pros in the fantasy baseball community (don't worry, Potter, that doesn't include you anyways) and gain some insight for my next draft...

I like teams 9 assuming reyes bounces back and team 10 the best. nice balance for both teams.

Team 10 looks good... getting Reyes, Manny, and Hamilton that late could be huge... unless they all get injured then that team will have problems...
