Any owners out there looking for place to stay in Vegas? I've rented a 4 bedroom house. Got a couple extra rooms with private bath. Cost $50 night. Friday, March 18th, and Saturday March 19th. The house is minutes from the Rio. If you need a ride to the Rio I'm sure I can help you.

My name is Jim Ferrari. I've signed up for Friday's Mixed, Saturday's Main, and Sundays Ultimate. I will be spending a lot of time at the Rio.

If interested, please e-mail me:

Thanks,

Jim

Very generous of you Jim. I'm sure you'll get some takers from some of the late signups once they see how high the few available rooms are going for that weekend.

Hey Greg, any chance we could go a week later next year to get away from the conventions and high rates in Vegas?

This ConExpo comes to Las Vegas every three years and that is the main reason for the lack of hotel rooms as that convention brings 150,000 conference attendees that weekend. Next year we'll reserve more rooms ahead of time and more space for the drafts and it shouldn't be as hectic without that convention in town.

As for moving it back a week, I'm afraid it would interfere with too many local drafts as the weekend before the start of the MLB season is a prime time for local drafts. Plus, the first weekend of the NCAA tournament has a nice feel to it. :D

Keeping the draft weekend in line with the opening of March Madness has HUGE appeal.

that is definitely attracted me to the draft. But the sewing convention is what sealed the deal
