Probably best to start a thread for Position Errors as we find them.



Jeff Clement is listed as a Catcher, and not a 1B (should be the other way around)

There are two Lou Palmisano's listed at Catcher. Delete the one with the "MLW" designation.

The following do not appear on the Catcher player list:



A.J. Ellis, LAD

Tyler Flowers, CWS

Adam Moore, SEA

Matt Pagnozzi, STL

Buster Posey, SF

Dusty Ryan, SD

Josh Thole, NYM

Wyatt Toregas, CLE

J.R. Towles, HOU

There are two Javier Brito's listed at 1B. Delete the one with the "ARZ" designation.

The following do not appear on the 1B player list:

Gaby Sanchez, FLA

Mike Carp, SEA

Is this just for free agency or are they showing up this way on rosters, as well?

The owned players (Posey, Towles, Sanchez) do appear at their correct positions on the roster grid, but for some reason don't appear on the Player Lists.



As for the unowned players mentioned, they don't appear anywhere!

I have gone through my one league loaded with free agency and there are a ton of issues. Players who should be free agents(wont list as I want them) are not listed and players who shouldn't be in the free agent pool are there namely rookies like Dustin Ackley Dominic Brown etc. I also found the two Javier Brito issue that KOQ posted. You also have a Micheael Cervanek and a Mike Cervanek. Were these player lists just copied and pasted from MDC? Retired players are listed, Marcus Giles, and I found one other retired guy but I forget his name. Anyway, this is not intended to be a slam or have anyone take it personally nor as doom or gloom just letting you know there are a lot more issues that need to be addressed, namely who is available and who is missing.

will all minor leaguers who get called up throughout the season have the correct position elgibility 100% of the time?



if not, what happens when someone needs a 1B and bids on a player listed as a 1B (but really isn't)? will they be allowed to use him at 1B?

1) Own% (please make this sortable)

2) Start% (ditto)

3) Multiple positions

shouldn't all players listed on opening day rosters be avail for pickup? those not drafted.



i see many players not avail in the free agent pool that are on rosters for opening day.



geoffrey, can you update the avail pool to include everyone that made the 25 man rosters for each team?

Interesting sidebar (Craig caught this, too): a lot of the listed players are rookies. Will these players be removed before Sunday at 8pm EST, or will we be allowed to bid on them this week?



The only MLB rosters that MUST be finalized by Sunday night are BOS and NYY.

Problems with Shortstops player list:



1) Tony Pena Jr. should not be on this list (he is correctly listed as eligible at P)



2) Nick Franklin, Grant Green, and Jiovanni Mier are listed as SS,UT -- but not MI



3) These players are missing from the Shortstop player list:



a) Ian Desmond, WAS

b) Tommy Manzella, HOU

c) Chin-Lung Hu, LAD

d) Brent Dlugach, DET

There's obviously some work to be done here. We'll get it taken care of.
