Missing Free Agents For This Week

Everyone:
We are getting a lot of emails from owners right now trying to get us to add certain players to the free agent pool this week. Unfortunately, if you're not seeing certain players listed it's because they were not on their teams' 40-man roster and are just now being added to MLB teams. Official rosters aren't likely to reach MLB offices until tomorrow, so these additions won't be in our system before our 7 am ET Sunday morning deadline. We are NOT adding players on the fly this week.
If we listed every available player on the 40-man roster and every non-40 man roster player invited to camp within the FAAB system, well, you know how slow the system would be. So those players -- and there are definitely a few this week -- won't be eligible to be bid on this week and will just show up next week for free agency. Every team will still have the same shot at those guys. Fair enough?
Geoff, Tom and I will try to respond to each individual email about this, but I decided to post this here to give a clearer understanding to everyone. Good luck with the free agents in your league and look for a few more next week.
