Some people are calling saying that they don't know how to set their starting lineup. I know it seems easy enough, but what the heck, I'll post it here to save me a few more phone calls.

Click on the ROSTER link in the green navigational bar.

Click on Set Lineup.

You'll see a diamond with players. You can click on Classic Version in the upper right and a text grid will appear. Set your starters and hit Save Roster link at the bottom.

Easy enough. Good luck.

Greg, I think the reason you are getting these calls is not b/c people don't know how to submit a lineup. It's because people are not able to access the "Set Lineup" page. It looks like we are locked out until FAAB is completed.

like biggie smalls said "mo money, mo problems". with the stakes in the nfbc getting so big and so many new people joining, problems are bound to happen. but i think the biggest problem is that alof the the so called "ins and outs" of the nfbc and how the leagues run is discussed on the message boards. how is someone brand new to the nfbc suppposed to know that everyone was allowed to make faab bids today when in the rules it stated that your team had to have been drafted by a certain date to participate in the faab process the first week? what about the whole jeff clement deal? this problem had an effect on alot of teams. i only drafted 3 teams this year, from april 1-3. jeff clement is showing as catcher eligible so i end up with him in 2 out of 3 leagues. but i go on the forums and find out that he is not catcher eligible? i love the nfbc, and greg, tom, and geoff do a great job. but if you are going to have such a large amount of money at stake, everything has to be on point. just saying. i feel sorry for newbies because they are going to get burned by alot of the confusion going on. all of the important news regarding all nfbc leagues should be displayed every league page. you should not have to go the message boards to find out what the problem is.

If this is big money to you, how come you didn't know he wasn't catcher eligible and let the position glitch fool you? I've known for months he wasn't eligible due to my own prep, I would never let a glitch in some data load on a brand new league management site confuse me.

I think the 'status' box on each league page would be helpful, though - or (though I hate them) a series of emails anything occurred so we are 'guaranteed' to get the note.

Concur with the above. NFBC is great, but to have to hunt through the forums to find answers to critical questions is very time consuming and unreliable. I know several owners who drafted on Sat, but had no idea FAAB was running Sunday. The rules said not until next week, but I just happened to see a post in the general discussion forum that said they will start Sunday. No one likes to get bombarded with emails, but in a case like this, there has got to be another way...

dyv,

Are you serious? I did not say this was big money for me. I was quoting biggie 'mo money, mo problems'. Meaning that the NFBC has reached new levels and alot of money is at stake. Fuggin ********* . Learn how to read and interpret before you respond.

I got a life, and a family. So if I dont have time to lurk on nfbc message boards and do 'research' months in advance like you, forgive me. I literally signed up right before my draft on april 1. So if the software running the nfbc is telling me that clement is catcher eligible, what am i supposed to think? he is eligible at catcher in every other fantasy baseball league, and the software is telling me he is catcher eligible so of course i am going to think this. How are you going to put this on the owners when it was clearly the software and the nfbc league itself that was at fault. If this was 'know' months in advance, then why in the world would you have a 'glitch' like that days before the season starts? Is that my fault ya jerkoff? Get out of here with that nonsense son.

Again, I am not complaining about the guys (Tom, Greg, Geoff) because they put up with alot of sheeit. They are always a phone call or email away and are always willing to help. But pricks like dvy or dvy, whatever your name is **** me off. Not everyone is on the fantasy basebll forums 24/7 and doing research 'months' in advance, seriously... This new software blows. Newer is not always better. With that being said, I am not going anywhere. I could go back to dominating CBS leagues but what fun is that? Hopefully all the issues get resolved.
