Six more who all saw the majors last season but failed to play 20 games at any position. Only Dubois even played a full 20 games.

1. Nick Swisher

2. Jason Bartlett

3. Freddy Sanchez

4. Joey Gathright

5. Jason Dubois

6. Antonio Perez

1. Tadahito Iguchi 2B, Japan

2. Jeremy Reed, OF-17 games

3. Nick Swisher, OF-17

4. Jason Bartlett, SS-4

5. Travis Lee, 1B-6 before injury

6. Freddy Sanchez SS-4

7. Joey Gathright OF-16

8. Jason Dubois OF-4

9. Antonio Perez 2B-2

Lee's situation is different from Troy Glaus' because Lee played all of his games at 1B last year. Glaus was injured but continued to be a DH for 39 games and thus spent the majority of his time last year as a utility player.

Greg, Just so we're all clear, does that mean ALL of the above players in Viper's 2 posts (including Iguchi) are Utility only?

Position Eligibility Question

No, they all qualify at the positions I have listed there. Those September callups all qualify at the position they played the most at after their callup and that's what I have listed there. ALL of those players have position eligibility on Draft Day that will carry them through the season.

That way everyone will have access to the players.

The position eligibility does need to be updated... only people with > 20 games are listed currently, I believe?

I disagree, I don't think the eligibility sheet should be updated. Leave it as is for those of us that have gone through these lists. List these last few unique players in a unique list or identify new players listed to the eligibility list in some fashion so they stand out from the original list. Thanks!

You guys are correct. All of the position eligibilities are on the web site for players with at least 20 games. We can add these minor-leaguers as well and will have player eligibility lists for everyone before Draft Day.
