I apologize for this delayed response, but power was knocked out here in Iola late last night and is just now being restored. I'm just now getting Internet access again. Talk about your perfect storm this week, wow!
Okay, late last night we decided it was best not to run league standings through Monday's games because we were still changing some rosters. In fact, we still have more than two dozen-plus rosters that need to be fixed today, some of which are illegal because Jeff Clement is at catcher when he qualifies only at 1B. We had hoped to address those teams yesterday, but obviously couldn't.
If we had run league standings and then continued with the roster changes, there would have been howls of changed standings, late moves, etc. It's best to just let us finish these moves today, get every roster legal and then run the correct standings. We were going to run them and put "unofficial standings" or something like that, but it just wasn't the best answer. I know everyone wants to see their standings and I don't blame you, but the roster changes is the culprit here.
People are asking if Sunday's games count and of course they do. I was told they were just appearing under the 4-4 weekly stats and everything yesterday was under the 4-5 weekly stats. They should be combined in Yearly Stats and I'm not sure why that wasn't showing that way yesterday.
Anyway, we are going to run standings tonight once we have rosters once and for all finalized. Sorry for the rough start and the FAAB screwup on Sunday caused all of this. But we will get standings going through tonight's games and live for you in the morning.
As for Live Standings, that feature does work but again we turned it off all day yesterday because of the roster changes. It would have been changing constantly as we changed starting lineups, so instead of turning it on at 8 ET like we originally planned, we just kept updating rosters and left Live STandings off all night. That will be turned on once we have these damn starting rosters finalized.
Again, sorry. Hopefully this helps to explain what happened thus far. I'll add one more post about the roster changes next.
