Who did Jason Heyward compare to in your "skill sets" computer analysis program? my comp program is only for major leaguers. since the majority of most minor leaguers are more hype than substance, i handle them on a case by case basis. heyward has under 200 at bats at AA and AAA, and he's only 20 years old.
according to the numbers i look at, in time he could become the next poodles. but that is like trying to forecast whether a storm 1,000 miles away will hit your city.
over the short term (next year or two), i'd settle for a sandoval with speed.

Unquestionably.
Did anyone else catch how much life those 3 balls had off his bat the other night when he had 2 doubles and a triple? The speed of the bat through the zone coupled with the trajectory and power was amazing.
This kid is special. I'll be taking him in the 2nd round if the opportunity presents itself. If the speed doesn't come around then late 2nd roundish. If he picks up the pace like he has in the '2' hole and swipes 15 or so bags this year, I'll glad take him anytime in R2.
