Come on Ryan, show your face and lets get to work

OK Greg, how about telling the big E to open a topic for enhancements on the boards here and maybe he can start accepting some responsibility for what is going on here. Being gone on vacation during a crucial time, then showing up and saying he was sorry and then disappearing again does not do much for my confidence in Ryan at all. All I have seen from Ryan is "all talk and no action". If he can't handle this maybe he should step aside and get someone in that job that knows something about customer service and how to give customers what they need and want.

Maybe you haven’t been paying attention, but 50% (higher if you don’t count posts about Gekko)of the posts the past 12 days have been about enhancements to the site. And further, the site has improved dramatically. Perfect? No. But over the last week and a half I think great strides have been made and I hope will continue to be made.

I actually don't mind that Ryan isn't on the boards so much and trusts his team to get things done. Years in retail management taught me that you are only as good as the folks below you and if you can't delegate to those folks, you got a major problem.

I also appreciate his apology last Sunday and how he has handled all the bullets fired at him. As I do how Greg, Tom & Geoff have handled this situation.

Where Fanball dropped the ball is not working out the kinks BEFORE the season! Yes, enhancements have been made but doing so after the season shows very poor managment overall.

Do we really need to skewer these guys everyday and on every thread?

I'm sure they more than get it by now and its not like they're sitting on their hands saying live with it.

Instead of constantly saying when things should have been ready, let's just continue making constructive suggestions and help them get it ready.

Glenn Exactly.

What's done is done. We can't change the past, and just need to continue to hope improvements are made. So far, they listen to everyone and most of it gets taken care of.

Glenn No skewers, all I am asking for is for Ryan to step forward and start coordinating the upgrades just as Greg has suggested. I want to see Ryan step up and put a process in place that will allow for the requested upgrades to be listed in one place and where Ryan can then prioritize the requests and keep us updated on progress. Is that too much to ask? I don't think so.

If I was Ryan I would jump at the chance to put a process in place where Fanball can see all the requested enhancements in one place and not have to hunt through all the message boards for them. The requests can be given a yay or nay and we go from there. Then the requester is not left in limbo wondering if his request is being considered or not. This will also put an end to the "lost enhancements" and the requester won't have to keep wondering and "bumping" his request.

IT change control is not brain surgery but it does need a process and some controls. Quit acting like a fly by night organization and get organized now before it ends up costing you big money and customers down the line.
