suspended game : when do stats compile ?

Statistics from the Red Sox vs Rays suspended game did not get compiled into either the league or overall standings in the overnight stat compilation from Friday games.

Just wondering if they should have already been included, or if they compile only after the suspended game goes final ?

Just wanted my Beckett pitching stats and Longoria SB, etc

to count now !!!

Please advise...

I didn't manage to get Beckett on any teams, so hopefully those stats never count.

Seriously, the suspended game is scheduled to be completed today, so I'm sure the 24 hour wait on stats won't hurt too badly....

The game will be completed before their scheduled game today, so (my guess is)the stats will be added to Saturday's (today) total

Glenn I'm just trying to stay as far ahead of you as possible in the Online Double Play league at all times

I guess delayed gratification is okay in this case, since I know I have great stats coming

I assume with the game to be completed today it will be part of tomorrow morning's stats. That being said, in past years whenever a game was suspended and then finished at a later time, the stats obviously were all loaded for that time period when the game was suspended and additional stats with all the players you had on your roster at that time were loaded weeks down the road. So the stats of the uncompleted game were already part of your standings.

Hopefully that's how it will be done here as well if suspended games can't be completed during that series.

Greg-

The stats from the Bos/TB game suspended from yesterday are not showing up in live scoring. Since they weren't compiled yesterday, and given the IT issues we've had with any unique situations, you may want to take a look at this early tonight. It will be chaos if the stats are missing until the update in the morning...it would be nice to see the stats now. Thanks.

I expected them to be up tonight the minute that suspended game began, but.....

I'm sure this is a stat provider issue that NFBC/Fanball has no control over. It's the same with other CDM games, and suspended games and double headers often cause temporary problems. I'm guessing it will be fine overnight.

Greg and the team should make sure that the standings will be correct tonight, possibly even have the live scoring correct...it may save a hundred messages tomorrow in the event of an issue.

On that note, I would like to thank the Red Sox for not being able to score with the bases loaded last night, and screwing Bard of a win.

AND Francisco Cordero for giving up walks and hits in the 9th to blow the win for Cueto (not that he deserved it).

To me it looks like the ytd stats are wrong for players , but the actual stats are right in the league standings. Also, after the suspended game was over, the stats showed up on the yesterday tab(friday), that's where i found soriano's save. Hope that helps.

Mathis is missing a SB(should have 1, not 0) in YTD also. He wasn't even involved in that game and it's wrong. So there's some serious problems here that need to be corrected.

The suspended game should have been part of the Friday stats, so that's good news. I'll check on why the YTD stats would be different or behind. That all does help and glad to hear the league standings are current.

Stats from the suspended game were definitely incorporated overnight into league standings and overall standings totals. As stated, though, stats somehow were not tallied so that they show in the Team Stats section for each player.
