How To Determine Weekly Prizes???

Post by Dirt Dogs » Sat Apr 17, 2010 10:00 am

How are we going to determine who wins the weekly prizes when we cant see the overall weekly (period) standings??

This was always a fun thing to compete for on a weekly basis and was made even more exciting this year because of the prizes that are being offered.

Michael, you emailed me this morning about this and I told you we absolutely need the Periods for Overall Standings. I can't get it done this quickly, but I did tell you I definitely need this as well. I'm hearing you guys via email, boards, PMs, phone calls, etc. ;)

Look, a lot of us have said some things in anger over the past 2 weeks, that perhaps we regret, or wouldn't say under normal circumstances.

But perhaps they needed to be said, as well.

The site was inexcusably unprepared two weeks ago. But Fanball has come a long ways in 2 weeks, and the site is now relatively functional.

A certain individual, who no longer deserves any recognition IMO, got away with crap again. Most of us vets know it, perhaps most keep quiet. But that individual is now under a big microscope, and folks won't ever forget what happened, and surely won't allow such an event to tarnish this competition again.

So we all move forward, like flawed human beings are supposed to do.
Lance, I'm looking at the time of your post...on a Saturday night...when tequila flows easier...and I've come to the conclusion that..... :D

No dirty laundry on my post. Just stating that Michael asked me if I could change this via email and I told him yes, he was totally right. We need to change this. Then 7 hours later he asks again here. No biggee, just that if he was asking me for this I already responded. But again, he's right, Period tabs should be there for all to see and for us to tabulate the weekly winners. He is right.
Geez Lance!

If he doesn't respond, he is not doing his job.

If he does respond to confirm he addressed this, he is still not doing right in your eyes?

I hope it was just the booze as well. :(
