I don't recall seeing Ike as in Yike Davis sitting around on the waiver wire, in multiple leagues. Was he just recently added (today)? Has he even been officially promoted to the Met's yet?

If not drafted and not on a major league roster then you will not find him on the waiver wire.

He'll be there later today. Dickie V, I am surprised you didn't draft him.

That was supposed to be my point Andy : ). Ike is all over the waiver wire , but has yet to be officially called up. In the leagues that I am in, he wasn't drafted and released, but is showing up. But i did draft him in one of those slow 45 rounders...

For what it's worth, Metsblog.com is reporting that Davis will be batting 6th tonight.

Just look under history in your league for all waiver releases...he should be there. Once he was added he would stay in the pool. The first week the player pool was open to almost everyone I believe.

I interviewed his dad Ron Davis last year and I asked him what kind of hitter his son Ike was like and he said he sees him as a John Olerud type of hitter. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

I wonder what his price tag would be this Sunday...especially if he has a hot week. The Mets already said that they plan to play him every day

My guess is about a cool hundred FAAB dollars on average

I guess it depends on what people think will happen when Murphy comes back. I guess how he starts will have something to do with that butwith the uncertainy and other factors and ill say anywhere from 100 to 300+ is possible.

I heard he is a great 20th inning pitching option.
