someone posted this somewhere else but never got an answer. Game 1 of doubleheader stats are vanishing when game 2 starts, how do we know the stats are counting, they are not in the daily totals, so it looks like they are not counting

Of course they are. I'm not sure why the first game's stats aren't displaying in Team Stats or wherever you're looking, but they most definitely are being accumulated. This is the first I'm hearing of this. I didn't see a post anywhere else.

they are not tabulating under the daily stats, not sure if they are missing or not, if they are not there people are going to want to see them somewhere, just checking. It under the Ask the NFBC a questions about the Marlins doubleheader from this past weekend

My live scoring show Loney at 1-2 with a SB. He had a SB in game 1 but not game 2, yet it's showing game 2 at bats. And the SB isn't counting in my yearly total. This is frustrating.

This does not address the question directly, nor may it represent how the Fanball mechanism does things, but mainly out of curiosity, I have asked some people that I know involved with this sort of thing how they do stuff. And have even been involved myself, taping games for a stats service as well as being interviewed for the stringer position described below for a different service.
Services that provide live scoring usually have stringers at each game, scoring it real time. This also feeds the real time box score you see on some web sites. Each "action" has a numerical code that the stringer records. There may be several actions on the same play. These codes then get translated into into the play by play, and into real time stats. As you might imagine, the stringers are not 100% accurate with their coding. This may lead to incorrect real time stats. If you play fantasy football, you often see completions awarded to the wrong wide receiver, probably because 86 looked like 88 or whatever.
The point is, the live stats feed is "unofficial."
To get official stats, services will review the "real time" stats to find mistakes. Sometimes there are official scoring decisions that change, so they check with the official scorer before releasing the "official" stats for that game.
It is these "official" stats that will usually fuel the morning standings.
Again, I have no clue what feed fuels what element of the Fanball mechanism. But I would not be concerned if the real time stats are showing incorrectly with respect to the integrity of the stats that fuel the official standings as I am pretty sure they are two distinct feeds.

Hey Jack, I know the first game from the Fla/Col doubleheader on Sat was added in, I have Nolasco and the YTD stats does show him with 2 wins. But still do not like to see vanishing stats on the Team Stats page

I didn't ask again once I saw the stats added in the next day.

I believe what Todd said on the Live Scoring feed is correct and it's also why when a postponed game is made up the first game totals disappear within Live Scoring. I wish we would unveil our new Team Stats page because that certainly better shows everyone scoring for each period by each player active and on the bench, and totals everything up for you better. I hope we unveil that today to avoid a question that wonders if all of the stats are being recorded. YES THEY ARE. Wow.
