Just let me know when you bench him so I can make sure I'm starting him that week... or maybe that only happens when I bench players...

As a fellow owner, you just have to keep the faith. Nothing else you can do. Great thing about baseball is stats tend to find their average over the course of the season. As long as he's not hurt, which he doesn't seem to be, he'll start hitting...I mean he has to, right? Maybe? Hopefully

Eventually, yes. His BABIP is .162, which is going to change; it's been about .320 the last 3 years. But he's also striking out in 26% of his PA, which is a huge increase. Ramirez has never been a big K guy; he hasn't k'd 100x in a season since 2001.

One interesting note is that is FB% is way up (60% as compared to 45% for his career). Combined with the K rate, this explains alot of the low BA. Unfortunately, his HR/FB % is 6.5%, which is less than 1/2 of his career average.
Something's gotta give soon.

YEP YEP im feeling the pain as i took him 5th round pick 5 in my NJ main.Damn i could have taken Josh Johnson like i did 5 other times but just thought Rameriz was great value this late, still like others i think he will get it going very soon.Nick Johnson finally had a game today and many had him on the bench or even waived him.
