Tom, Which player that you think is currently being bantied about as a first rounder will turn out be a dud or has a high risk of injury this year? This question comes from someone that took Prior at #7 last year.......

Good thing I took him in the first round of one of my Expert Leagues, huh?

Tom, any chance the Ultimate Draft order could be picked today?

Are there going to be 30 picks (23/7) or 29 (23/6) for the mixed auctions?

Tom, I plan on booking my flight to Chicago tonight, and because of the small arrival window on that Friday, I have a question related to the 4pm Central start.
If we need to combine cities for an Auction, what's the absolute earliest it would start? 3pm Central?
Thanks!

Will the fungus on my left big toe go away on its own or should I have a doc look at it?

Thanks! It's a guess at this point because we would need to determine which cities would be merging. But I would say we wouldn't want to go much earlier than 3 p.m. Central time. Don't put that in stone yet, though.

Go see a doctor and thank you for the very unappealing visual.

Eric Karabell wrote that a 20/20 season for Hollandsworth is possible.
Did I miss something here? Hasn't Hollandsworth had like 2 career threatning leg injuries? Also, isn't he in a position battle with Dubois and Hairston?

Baker said this week that Hollandsworth has been pencilled in as the starter in LF. Frankly I was shocked by this; it's been years since anyone thought Hollandsworth had any kind of decent potential. The word out of Chicago is that Hairston could rotate at all three OF positions and still get plenty of playing time. I downgraded him a bit on our rankings in light of Baker's announcement, but I still think at some point this season Hairston will be a full-time player and Hollandsworth a fourth outfielder. I think that's the best role for both of them.

Tom, has there been any discussion about the time limit for players to be nominated in the auctions or what action is to be taken if someone goes over the limit. We don't want to have what happened in the NL auction in Vegas last year where one guy couldn't come up with any names and was passed over and over. Maybe have a minor league roster handy and throw out one of those at $1 if the team owner can't find someone.

Maybe have a minor league roster handy and throw out one of those at $1 if the team owner can't find someone. We won't set a specific time limit in the auctions but we'll keep things moving without the pace getting too frantic. That's something the facilitators will be told in advance. We won't have the facilitators bringing up players because the players you bring up -- especially late in auctions -- are often ones you want on your roster. So it will be up to each owner to be prepared and keep things moving.

So much talk about Hudson Street. If the A's struggle out of the gate do you think they'd move Dotel and hand over the closer's job to Street? Is he really all that? I honestly don't know a lot about him.

The A's are very high on Street. If they do move Dotel at some point I would believe Street is the guy they'll turn to as their closer.

Just wondering if anyone has XM satellite radio? Since they bought the baseball rights, are they currently doing baseball talk shows? I have Sirius and am "siriusly" thinking of switching as I am much more interested in baseball than football + basketball.

Yea, I don't think I would pick him with the 2nd pick like I did last year either... that's for sure.

Tom - With the new muscle in Seattle (Beltre and Sexton), do you think Ichiro will run less this year?

1) Will you guys wait until the very last league is filled before drawing draft slots for the main event?
2) Can you get a link to your main website placed on the top of this message board?
3) Is there a way to add the "quick reply" option to this board?
Note...that Rotoworld magazine made me laugh when they said Alfonso Soriano would be a "good middle-round pick"...yea...so would Pujols.
