Don't know what kind of league that is, but Kearns is a waste. Kershaw is fine, but giving up those three for him is paying way too much.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

I dont think it's that far off.If you dont need Escobar then he's just a throw in and i think Qualls for Kearns is fine i mean Qualls could have NO value when he blows his next game.Kershaw has been pitching great as of his last 5 to 6 starts with plenty of k's.If your offense is strong and you need pitching i would make this trade and it's a trade that will help both teams.I also think Kearns does have some value batting cleanup in Cleveland.

First of all Qualls is worthless, he wouldn't even be setting up if it wasn't for the fact that the ENTIRE DBack bullpen sucks. {When Aaron Heilman is your most reliable RP that is saying something!}
You didn't say how many teams were in yer lge, but I can't imagine it would be that difficult to replace Escobar. Hell, I dropped him in a smaller lge when he went on the DL back in April.
So to me it's Vic for Kershaw. It sounds as if you can take the hit in SB's, so I'd do it. Kershaw is def top notch, and anything you get from Kearns is gravy.

He is showing a little decent BA for the first time in his very poor career. The last two years he hasn't hit above .220. Only three HR so far in 146 AB and already 47 K's. I do not think even the BA will last. Kearns has been pretty worthless for years.
