Funny story about "That other high stakes contest"
Back in November, when I first started looking around for high stakes leagues, I came across the other league and sent them an email expressing interest. I waited a week and had no reply, so I sent them another message. Again, no reply. After sending them a 3rd email and getting no reply, I decided to take my business elsewhere and was lucky enough to find the NFBC. Greg wrote me almost immediately, answered all my questions, and I signed up in no time.
Just yesterday, a full 3 months since I first contacted them, the other league calls me and asks if I would be interested in joining their league. LOL.
No thanks.
