Just a point of order here. I noticed Hudson was available on all my team's watch lists. However, from what I'm gathering from the published reports, he will be recalled today, making him ineligable on FAAB today. I may be missing something here, but before we have another MB nuclear rod meltdown, a clarification would be appreciated

Bob, so I'm seeing that the White Sox said they would call him up in yesterday's reports and today's reports say that he was called up. He had to be active by 7 am ET on Sunday and we get these reports right from STATS, so I'll check with them to make sure this was right. But he was active in all NFBC leagues first thing this morning, so right now I don't think anything was done wrong.

He was actually available in all 5 of my leagues earlier in the week. I believe they called him up earlier in the week and wouldn't announce the corresponding move until yesterday or today.

The official move was made today by the White Sox, and after 7am:

07/11/10

Chicago White Sox optioned Jeffrey Marquez to Charlotte Knights.

Chicago White Sox recalled Dan Hudson from Charlotte Knights.

Yet in our free agent system, Hudson was added to the pool on 7/7/10. The exact same situation happened with Derek Holland several weeks ago.

I'm not sure why he was available in all player pools earlier in the week because that would be a mistake on our part. But I'm trusting that he was called up in time today and everyone has had the same access to bid for his services, so we move forward with Hudson being available for pickup this week. Good luck to all who may want him for the second half of the season.

I don't know exactly when the official callup happened, but it sure seems like it did this morning. I just know that it was reported today that he was called up and that we did have him in our FAAB system for all to bid on. He was not added after our 7 am ET deadline to the FAAB pool, so everyone has the same chance to bid on him.

Again, good luck to all who want him.

i picked hudson up last week for $1 in one of the satellite leagues i'm in.

after reading this thread, i was curious if i had picked him up illegally, or he shouldn't have been available. but upon further review, he was originally drafted in the 28th round and later dropped.
