Suggestion for the overall standings page

It's been an enjoyable first main event year, despite the fact that my team totally sucked. Live and learn the hard way I guess. Despite my disastrous 2010, I am still leaning towards coming back next year.
Apologies if anyone else suggested it in the past but worth bringing up again I think:
Overall standings: can we get everything without tabs with sortable columns and especially live!!!
If it can be done live for 15 teams at league level, why can't it be done live for 435 or so? 270 pts or so difference between Quahogs and Glenn seems a big one, but one single win or a save or a SB could be worth 20-30 pts. A pitcher blowup could plunge you in the standings. I'm sure Glenn is trying to figure out right now in his excel sheet...how much did I gain from Wainwright's outing? How many places from W, Ks...can't wait till tomorrow for this.
Also tabs make navigation difficult. Get rid of them and display all 10 categories & points nicely along the total points. Use all the space and get rid or cut of non essential info such as league. Make columns sortable and have the option of showing select teams as well, just like live league standings.
Is this too much to ask for next year?
Thanks,
KPM
