With 10 days left......

Quahogs - Stephen Jupinka has 3,921 points and that is a 271 point lead over second place, where Glenn Lowy Glenneration X sits with 3,649. Jupinkas' team has nice balance with over 1,950 points in both hitting and pitching.

There is a six pack right there with over 3,614 points and it should be a great battle.

Number 7 overall Jockich Jones Michael Sonday leads the league in hitting with 2,096.5 (that is better then the total points of 204 teams)as he is the overall leader in runs with 1,123. He is followed by number 3 Guess Who? NY Mark Srebro with 2,051 hitting points and leading the NFBC in RBI with 1,103 and HR 304 (His Atlantic City leads the NFBC in steals with 213).

The only team over 2,000 in pitching points is number 18 Pizza Bagel Robert Conti, our NFBC overall leader Quahogs is second in pitching points and third is number 4 The Chameleons Chris Plouffe with 1,957.5.

The payoffs are

2nd $20,000

3rd $12,500

4th $6,000

5th $3,000

6th $1,500

7th $1,300

Currently only 10 points seperate over $10,000 difference from third (3,624.5) and seventh (3,614.5)

5. Bama & Madcow Kenneth Norred & Dan Semsel 3,616

6. team longood David Longood 3,615

7. Jockich Jones Mike Sonday 3,614.5

Bama & Madcow were the only top 7 team that got in the top 20 (19th) in any pitching catagory: ERA with 3.32

Best of luck to everyone still in the chase over the final few days.

Thanks Craig. This is as exciting as hell. Such a tight race with so much dough on the line.

Steve, you're welcome to join the rest of us down here if you feel left out.

Oh and by the way, payouts were increased.

I believe 4th place is now $7.5K and 5th place is $4K.
