Carpenter--earned runs today

Live scoring shows that Carpenter gave up 5 earned runs today. Three websites I checked show that he gave up only 2 earned runs and three unearned. Is live scoring sometimes wrong and then it gets fixed later?

Live scoring is wrong quite often. After the game all of the sites had Carp with 5 earned runs, MLB.com and CBS have since updated theirs to show him with 2 earned runs...which should be correct. It will get fixed and be correct after the standings update in the AM.

the nfbc live scoring ALWAYS gives me false hope (that one of my pitchers didn't get shelled as hard as it looked)....then I check cbssportsline and I see, yes indeed that jerk DID give up 6 runs, etc.

I don't know why it's like that, but it is....as Cobbie said they get it right at the end of the night, but it's definitely misleading for a while.

Could you guys look into this? I noticed that Carpenter was charged with all 5 earned runs from last night in the overnight update. All of the stat lines show him with 2 earned runs.

We get these from STATS like other sites do, so I'm not sure why there would be a discrepency. But we'll look into it.
