Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't know about this program, but I just found out that I have accumulated some "Fanball fanpoints" from my NFBC entries. I found this out because I received an email saying that the program is being terminated at the end of this year and the points will expired next August.



Can someone who has redeemed their fanpoints explain how you do it and what can you buy? On the website it says you can turn them into "Fanbucks" but I don't know how you spend Fanbucks.

Go to my account and click on fanpoints.Then go to convert and click the option you want.

Let say you convert into $25 so you sign up for a $100 league it would cost you $75 to enter.

They add it to your account. Then they will remove it automatically from your account when you sign up for something or purchase something.

Can these Fanbucks be used for NFBC entry fees next season?

I sent a message to Fanball support and was told that Fanpoints are not awarded for NFBC games. If you were given enough to matter convert them quick!!

Once the points are converted to Fanbucks, when do they show up in your account? The credit hasn't showed up in my account yet.

You get points for all Fanball contests including the NFBC and you can use points for all Fanball contests including the NFBC. It's all moot anyway as the program ends at the end of 2010.

Glenn The notice I got says that although they are not awarding new points after Dec 31, 2010, you can redeem points that you already have up to Aug 25, 2011. So next years NFBC drafts would fit that time frame -- if it's eligible for fanbucks use. I've never played any Fanball game other than NFBC so this Fanpoints program is new to me.

I'm guessing they meant no points awarded for finishing top 3 in your league like they are for the fanball challange contests (5000 pts for 1st etc). you'll still get points for money spent until the end of 2010. sign up early big spenders!
