I thought it was pretty interesting that Major League Baseball is considering a 7-day DL list next year for players who suffer concussions. This is a proposal that could be enacted right away and used in 2011. It's something to keep an eye on for the NFBC as well since we do allow player moves on Fridays when it comes to players officially on the DL list. I would think a few more players would land on the DL list if this rule is approved.
Anyway, here's the story from ESPN.com:

Rob Neyer has an interesting take on the subject, as he always does. I do agree with him that this has not been a big case for MLB players. As he correctly points out, MLB teams have actually been very cautious in recent years with players who have suffered head injuries. But the 7-day DL would make sure that no player is rushed back into the lineup in order to avoid the 15-day DL.
Here's Rob's take:

What's your thoughts on this idea? Is it a good idea or just a PR move by Major League Baseball?
