Does anyone know if MLB has ever done this? Has The Sporting News or ESPN or any other media done this? If not, why the hell not? I mean, c'mon, baseball greats are the best debate around. It's always fun to compare Bob Gibson against Hank Aaron or Ted Williams vs. Nolan Ryan.
For all the die-hards out there like Doughboys, could you even create a Top 100 list? Could we start with a Top 10 and agree on it?? If nobody has done this yet, then the NFBC Message Board group should start it out. Let's compile a Top 10 list of all-time greats and see if we agree. Or if somebody already did it, let's post it and debate. If we're going to fight on the message boards, let's do it over baseball stats!!
