The last thing I want to do is sound anything like the I need my check by a certain date crowd or more specifically person. Not my intention.

Henry has been very good about returning emails, but no action or anything close to a definite on payment yet.

Greg- can you get involved and try to get them moving or to at least commit to a payment date?

We are working on it and you have nothing to worry about is better than Henry saying nothing but.....

He seems like a nice guy and I would like for him to make a nice splash in this area. I just think for all involved it is time to get paid or to at least give more feedback.

Thanks in advance!

He just emailed me two minutes ago and said the check is being sent to his office shortly and he hopes to have payments out to you folks by Thanksgiving. I was just going to make this post.

Henry is on it and all is good. Again, we hope to do this again for folks who pay via check this year. Look for more details shortly.

Thanks and good for Henry. He has done a nice job here and I think a 6-8 week timeframe which he is going to meet is reasonable especially the first time around.

I hope this is right because i just replied to Henry from an email he had sent me earlier and it was just returned undeliverable. Then i went and clicked on the website link at the bottom of his previous email and the website is not found. So unless they completely changed the business name and email addresses this dosent look too good.

I dont want to sound like "that guy" but i find this strange. Any explenations?

Henry just emailed me this morning to let me know the insurance company has settled up with him and NFBC members can look for their checks shortly. Again, we appreciate all that Henry has done for us with this unique insurance plan and we look forward to working with him again in 2011. No other high-stakes contest offers this insurance opportunity and many of our members benefited from it. All they had to do was pay via check instead of credit card and the insurance was free on one player.

Here's the latest update from Henry: "I wanted to let you know I have received payment from the insurance company and will process the checks and get payment to the guys this week."

Is there any word yet? I have not had an email or any other contact from them as of yet. Any info would be great.

Does it really surprise any of you guys that it's the last day of November and the insurance money hasn't been paid out yet?

Guys, we have continually posted updates on this and Henry is making this work for all of you. He said checks were going to go out late last week. Given that it was a holiday weekend, I'm not surprised you don't have your checks in your hands today. But I suspect you'll see them this week.

Enjoy.

[/QUOTE]I emailed with Henry yesterday and he "thought" checks went out last week but was going to email me back to check. I never heard from him again which to be fair is not typical.

Greg I am not sure I would give Henry the good reviews it appears you would here. He has been great about responding- but has been terrible with proactive communication. He knows people are uncomfortable here and this is new. Initiated communication from him would have been much appreciated. I also think he is now coming very close to bumping up against the amount of time a reasonable person would assume is acceptable.

You told folks not to pay by check, but dozens of NFBC owners didn't listen to you and are now waiting on thousands of dollars in claims. We had two teams in the Diamond League get $2,000 each just for paying by check. This was a nice setup, but trust me, we'll listen to you guys if you think this payment is too late. If this freebie is a bad thing, trust me, we won't do it again.

Henry is working on this as Kent knows. Shame on the insurance companies for taking longer to pay than Fanball, right, John? I'm glad you think you finally won at something in the NFBC.

Chest Rockhead, If I had a question I'd ask in person or by phone. Last I'd ask e-mail. I'd never ask by the NFBC BB open to the world on the internet. But hey I can see why you'd think this was privey and all. ;)

Greg, Take your shots at me if you want. But talking about me not winning in the NFBC is kinda stupid.

Chest Rockhead, Hey no problem. I didn't pick a player for insurance. I thought it was a ripoff from the start. Oh yeah I used a credit card last year also. For the first 6 years it seemed to be a good deal for the NFBC. But going forward I can see where those of us that can't pay by check should be treated as less than worthy. No problem. No signup.

Greg- after reading what John has to say I completely agree with him. Please stop treating him like he is unworthy. I am tired of the way you have berated him in half drunken posts in the middle of the night through the years. I am tired of you repeatedly threatening to throw him out of the nfbc. I am tired of how on countless occasions you have just trivialized the many, many positive suggestions that he has made. It must stop Greg and the first step to repairing this fractured relationship is to personally apologize to John. I know that I at least speak for his 14 potential league mates in the nfbc 2011. Thanks for listening.

Henry apologizes for the delay, but NFBC checks were mailed to all qualified "winners" today. Look for them in the mail soon and please post that they've arrived. Hopefully it will appease the naysayers who didn't think this would come to fruition.

Thanks for your patience all.
