Who Wants To Compete In The Next Slow Draft?

We are still refining our Slow Draft software for the upcoming season, but the goal is to have this done shortly and start the NFBC season immediately. We will do that with our debut Slow Draft Championship where everyone competing in a Slow Draft league will be competing for league prizes and an overall championship. We are VERY excited about this concept.
Here's the idea for each 15-team Slow Draft League:
1. It's a Draft Champions format where teams draft 50 players and no free agent pickups are made during the year. What you draft is what you have for the whole season.
2. We've increased roster sizes from 45 players to 50 players. I still need to get this cleared through IT, but that's the goal. For those leagues that have drafted already, we'll give you time to add 5 more rounds if you haven't done it already.
3. Slow Drafts allow owners 12 hours to make a pick before their time runs out. Each pick is emailed to you and you'll know when your time is up. This allows owners plenty of time to make their picks and doesn't hold anyone to their computers for these leagues. We are also developing auto-pick functions that allow you to list players you want for your next pick and even allow you to list separate players for the following round. This should help speed up the process.
4. We are filling up Slow Draft Leagues as signups come in and starting shortly after we have 15 owners for that price point. Owners are allowed to set their KDS preferences and after we randomly pick the order we'll assign draft spots. Check the rules out if you are unfamiliar with KDS because this is a nice feature that allows you to have some input in your draft location.
5. We pay Top 3 spots in all of the $150, $375 and $1,000 Slow Draft leagues. This year we are also taking $25 from each team and putting it towards an overall national championship, paying the Top 5 finishers including $3,500 for first place. If we go above 20 Slow Draft leagues, we will expand the overall prize pool. Last year we did finish with 20+ Slow Draft leagues, so I think this could be fun and the final prize pool could be very solid.
6. You can sign up online under $150 Slow Draft and $375 Slow Draft. There are no draft dates listed there because those are first-come, first-served. If you sign up, be ready to draft once the league is full. You can also put your name on the list within this thread and we'll get you added officially once the league is full.
I'll start the signup list on this thread next. If you have any questions about the Slow Draft format, feel free to post here. But do your homework ahead of time because with 750 players being drafted you'll definitely need to know your major-leaguers and your minor-leaguers. Wow, I'm not sure I could even do that!!
But as most owners will tell you, Slow Drafts are about the best way to prepare for the upcoming season and they are a lot of fun. It almost becomes a social network of 15 like-minded baseball friends and you have several weeks to talk about baseball and ask opinions of certain players. It's a fun, small community all drafting over several weeks. And without the weekly FAAB duties, it's an easy team to run and a lot of fun with the league and national standings.
Look for the signup list next. Thanks all.
