Call it the new Georgian peanut butter sandwich or HUM, either way, Heyward, Uggla, and McCann in the middle of that Braves lineup looks good...
Who would win first?
Paris Hilton on Jeopardy or Rich Gannon in the NFBC?
No, I won't update my last 'Fantasy Camp' to keep up with what happened on the 'Dark Side'.
Burke Badenhop should not be a reliever with the Marlins, he should be a swedish infielder who always complains about bad bounces.
Early drafts are telling us that there is not much faith out there in Nick Markakis. The former third rounder can be had in the eighth.
DeJesus to Oakland, Maybin to San Diego, and Uggla to Atlanta does not exactly help these guys fantasy-wise.
Even, hurting DeJesus and Maybin facing larger ballparks, and maybe softer lineups.
Who was the last Rookie of the Year that is not fantasy relevant today?
(Answer at the bottom of the post)
Danny Valencia finished third in American League Rookie of the Year voting.
Ike Davis finished seventh in National League Rookie of the Year voting.
Advantage National League
Boston fans are in for a letdown this year.
Anything short of signing Beltre and VMart will be considered a loss.
It's tough to see them signing both and somebody else of consequence.
Yankee fans will be happy with that. But, even with signing Cliff Lee, they are old.
Lee could just be a better Andy Pettitte. If that is the case, the Yankees haven't really gained much, except payroll.
They screwed up with Joba and haven't helped Hughes much. They can't afford screw ups with youngsters.
The answer to the question is Bobby Crosby, 2004.
