It's time to start looking at each of the positions, putting our Cheat Sheets together and debating on the players. Fanball will help you along the way as our editors have starting the ranking process and have a great grid where you can find many different opinions.

Anyone who is a member of Fanball's Owner's Edge can now go to MLB Player Rankings and Find Staff Rankings. We have eight Fanball editors -- including me and Tom -- who are updating their rankings for each position throughout the off-season. We also have a composite ranking of each position from the rankings of the eight editors.

I'll list my rankings here and let you folks pick them apart and debate them. I'll also list the consensus ranking to compare to my ranking. Tom can chime in when he has time as well.

Let's start with first base and have some fun. Now I'll admit, I did my own rankings and then looked at our early NFBC Slow Draft results to further validate my thinking. Hopefully I'm going in the right direction here. Let me know, which I'm sure you'll do!!! :D Here we go:

Nothing real earth-shattering as far as our differences. I'm leaving Fielder ahead of Gonzalez for now because I believe Prince will be committed to having a big season before he becomes the top free agent of 2012. I have Dunn over Youkilis and Morales over Morneau, mainly because I'm very worried about the concussion he suffered. It looks too much like the side effects that Corey Koskie had. I also had Ike Davis ahead of Carlos Pena before the Cub signing and now just placed Pena one spot ahead of Davis.

Thoughts? I'll keep 'em coming with second basemen next.
