Green Bay 26 Pittsburg 24

Steelers miss a field goal and the Pack hangs on for the W. More importantly, football will be DUNN and

it is all systems go for baseball. Pitchers & Catchers in less than 10 days!

Can't wait for baseball.

In watching the Super Bowl and listening to Troy Aikman, while thinking about Tim McCarver with Joe Buck, football does have one thing over baseball.

Green Bay has transformed three yards and a cloud of dust to 30 yards and a grass stain...

Pack 34

Pitt 24 NICE CALL!!! PACKERS WIN ANOTHER SUPER BOWL!!

Talk about karma lately, yesterday was my daughter's Sweet Sixteen birthday. From the beginning of the season when she saw the schedule she prayed that the Packers would make it to the Super Bowl on her birthday. I kind of brushed it off, thinking it would be a one-in-a-million happening. Heck, I wasn't even sure we could beat the Vikings for the division title and as it turned out the Bears were better than both of us.

But this amazing run of good luck since December continued with the Packers and with each win we got closer to my daughter's dream birthday. Sure enough, they get to the Super Bowl and we had the best birthday party ever. When the Packers won it last night the two of us hugged and cried for a journey we all took together. It was special and certainly a birthday she will NEVER forget.

The fact that it was a fantastic game to watch made it even better. I think all of America had fun watching two great teams, two great franchises, with two great fan bases, with hard working ethics. This was good for the sport. Now let's hope they do the right thing and get a collective bargaining agreement signed by March. Could they really be so stupid to kill this golden goose? I hope not.

Happy Birthday Emily!!!! ;)

Greg, that's a nice story about your daughter. I have a 6 year old daughter born on February 3rd so every year her birthday will fall near or on the Super Bowl. Went to a small party yesterday and she was able to sit with us and watch the entire game without fussing or looking for other things to do. Hope to turn her into a sports fan and have some good memories along the way.

And I agree with you, I hope that the owners and players are not stupid enough that they can't figure out a way to divide up the revenue from one of the most profitable businesses ever.
