I was wondering what the $$$ hitting / pitching breakdown was for the NL and AL LABR auction. Also, any chance you could give out a few more prices?

I didn't keep track of every owner's dollar breakdown as I was charting each player's final value, but I know most guys went more 70/30 hitting to pitching. I think I was at $180 and $80, while some other guys were in the 67/33 range or 65/35. I don't know of anyone who went overboard on pitching, although Jonah Keri of Baseball Prospectus got four closers in the NL Auction.



I'll try to find a few more numbers, but all of them will be published in Wednesday's USA Today Sports Weekly. Pick a copy up on the way to the event or wait until you get there as we'll have a copy for each team.
